He is committed to accelerating the green transport revolution, not least through the development of hydrogen fuel.

    Adrian has worked within aerospace for 18 years, and now sits with the GKN Aerospace future technologies team as a Director of Strategy/Ecosystem with a focus on hydrogen as a route to help decarbonise the sector

  • John Chaplin

    The Bristol Port Company

    John is a chartered engineer and a director at the Port with responsibility for External Affairs and Special Projects. He leads the Port’s interest in hydrogen as a commodity that can be used as fuel, produced, imported and distributed from our Dock Estate

  • Matthew Hindle

    Wales & West Utilities

    Matt is Head of Net Zero & Sustainability at Wales & West Utilities. He is responsible for decarbonisation and sustainability activity for the organisation, which looks after the pipes that keep gas flowing for 7.5m people across Wales and South West England

  • Nicholas Hughes

    Hynamics

    Nick is responsible for establishing EDF’s Hynamics business in the UK. He has over 15 years in the Energy Industry – all with EDF in the UK: 6 years in downstream energy sales & commercial contract structuring; 5 years in renewable development; 3 years setting up EDF’s renewables business in Ireland, including M&A activity and development across all technologies

  • Furah Naeem

    Costain

    Furah has a strong consultancy background focused on project and change management. She has delivered project management services for Department for Transport, National Highways, Ministry of Defence, and the Cabinet Office on major change programmes. Furah is Chair of the British Aviation Group (BAG) Next Generation group and brings her expertise into trends and innovation to support HSW

    After 10 years working as the external face of Hinkley Point C, the new nuclear power station, David Eccles now leads Hydrogen South West, directing its activities as an independent consultant

    Lahiru is a Senior Sustainability Manager at easyJet, leading the airline's decarbonisation strategy, and has over a decade of airline experience having previously held roles at British Airways and Virgin Atlantic

    John is Chief Operating Officer at Wessex Water heading up the environmental, engineering, operational, construction, purchasing and fleet teams with over 20 years’ experience in the water, oil, gas, aviation and defence industries. John is committed to Wessex Water achieving net zero operational carbon emissions by 2030

    Jey is an Aerospace Engineer, part of the Aircraft Fuel Systems leadership team at Airbus in Filton, coordinating with Airbus sustainability programmes across the UK and internationally

  • Stuart Cory

    WSP

    Stuart’s Portfolio and Project Director for a range of framework contracts with large oil & gas (increasingly more generically energy focused) clients across the UK the Middle East and Africa. His portfolio of works includes provision of a range of environmental services from large scale infrastructure planning / consenting, environmental assessment, acquisition and divestment support, site investigation & remediation, as well as managing teams delivering operational support including compliance monitoring, licensing and permitting services.

    National Composites Centre

    Jo is Strategic Partnerships Director at the National Composite Centre (NCC), which is part of the UK’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult. Before joining the NCC, Jo was Director of the Western Gateway (the UK’s first cross-border economic Powerhouse) and held senior leadership roles in the public and private sectors. This included bp, the Royal Society, and the UK Government Office of Science. n goes here

Chris has both large corporate and SME experience in the advanced engineering sector and has represented smaller entrepreneurial businesses in the Aerospace sector as a Director of WEAF and on various national AGP Boards with a particular interest in the skills agenda.
